$1500 Raised: Nutrien Rewards Customers and Cydectin Platinum Support CareFlight

08 July 2024

Celebrating a Successful Campaign and Community Support

Back in May, as part of a retrospective on Cydectin Platinum’s last 3 years since its release, we showcased our continual investment into the product with our many post-registration trials and label claim additions, as well as debuting our new Cydectin Platinum Nil Milk WHP TV advertisement. As part of the retrospective, we wanted to give back to the generous community of Nutrien customers who have supported Cydectin Platinum since its launch by pledging to donate $1 for every litre sold during that month to CareFlight, an aeromedical charity dedicated to saving lives and serving patients in metro, regional and rural communities.

Campaign Results: A Community Achievement

Thanks to your incredible support, we have raised $1500 through this campaign. This donation will directly contribute to CareFlight’s mission to provide urgent medical care to those in need, enhancing their life-saving services across the country. Further to that, over 80,000 cattle have been treated with Cydectin Platinum, ensuring they are protected from key parasites like Barber’s Pole and cattle ticks, and potentially gaining over 645,000 kg of extra weight compared to if they were treated with a single active pour-on.1-3

Our Commitment to Community and Animal Health

At Virbac, our commitment extends beyond animal health. We are dedicated to supporting the community of resellers and producers who are essential in distributing and using our products to improve the health of animals across the country. Your hard work and dedication are integral to our success, and we are proud to give back to the community that supports us.

Thank You for Your Support

Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all our customers and partners for making this campaign a success. Your continued support enables us to make a positive impact, and we look forward to continue our commitment to supporting initiatives that not only benefit livestock animals across the country, but also to the broader Australian farming community.
